Guitar Classes
New guitar classes are forming! You can learn to play as a beginner, or improve your guitar skills, from one of our three talented, professional instructors. Our classes are structured to accommodate all ranges of skill from complete novice to experienced guitarist. Learn popular songs, blues, rock, jazz, classical, or any other genre that interests you.

Instructors
Andrew Bailie is a professional musician with nine years of teaching and gigging experience. Andrew is versed in all styles of guitar, including jazz, blues, rock, hard rock, folk, fingerstyle, country, funk, latin jazz, classical, and pop. He is also an experienced bassist (both upright and
electric), vocalist and songwriter.
Andrew has played in several groups over the years while freelancing where needed.
Some of his former and current projects include the Jazzwholes, It’s True, the
Heidi Joy Jazz Band (also the Holiday Joy Christmas shows since 2003), Riverside
Anthology, WGO Orchestra (Motown), his current original band Moscow Mule, and the
Dundee Jazz Trio. Andrew is also learning piano and banjo and is looking foreword
to teaching group guitar classes for all ages and levels.
Diana graduated from the University of Nebraska, Omaha in May 2007 with a degree
in Music Performance on guitar. At UNO she studied classic guitar with Hadley
Heavin. Diana thinks continuous learning is a necessity of life and makes it
a point to study with other guitarists and musicians whenever possible. She has
traveled all over the U.S to study with notable guitarists and attends music
festivals and competitions for continued education.
Diana has extensive performing experience in Omaha and all over the U.S. She can regularly be seen playing nylon string Spanish and Classical guitar at restaurants, parties, weddings, and functions. She is also in The Maries, an original art rock project and plays as a singer songwriter regularly, she also plays around town in various ensembles with many different musicians.
Steve Byam has 37 years of extensive playing experience. After growing up in Omaha,
he moved to Nashville and spent 30 years on the road, touring and performing
with various musicians. Steve played for three years with Trace Adkins, three
years with Jo Dee Messina, and also with Highway 101 reunion tour and the Warren
Brothers. He made his living playing pedal steel but also plays guitar, mandolin,
dobro, lap steel and dobro.
Steve has now returned to Omaha and is excited to be teaching guitar at Keys to Harmony. Currently he plays at Perry's Place every Thursday with his band Whiskey Pig. Steve can also be seen playing with Moscow Mule, The Willards, and Matt Cox.
